Hand-made hammered copper ashtray stamped ‘Chile‘.
Unusual stove or fireplace ashtray made by hand in solid copper. An exceptional curiosity, we’ve haven’t seen another like it.
It is old. The patina is uniform with glints of shining copper showing through the aged copper. Estimated circa 1920’s to 1930’s. We have cleaned the patina off of the rests.
Stamped ‘Chile’ on the inside base. The chimney stack is removable. In whole condition, no damage.
