Made by Imperial Glass, an elegant maker of the mid 20th century. From the “Olde Jamestown” line. Circa 1960’s to 1970’s. Hand-made, thick glass. Designed to look like primitive early American glass. This line was developed to cater to the tastes of the hippie/naturalist crowd.
These vintage art glass ashtrays are made with thick amber glass. The large ashtray Measures 7.5″ square and 2″ tall and weighs 4 lbs. The other ashtray measures 6″ square and 1.75″ tall and weighs 2.6 pounds.
Over 6½ lbs of ashtrays! Perfect for cigars, patio, poolside or parties.
Formed by pressing into base mold and heat finished by hand. Slightly rough textured surface and evident air bubble within the handmade glass. In perfect condition.
