WWI King George V and Consort Queen Mary of Teck memento ashtray in copper.
Large 7″ round antique copper ashtray with lovely dark natural aged patina. Deep intaglio side-views of King George V and Queen Mary in wartime dress.
This ashtray appears never to have been used for its intended purpose. No signs of burns. The patina on the surface is even, no smudges or signs of polishing. One small atmosphere blemish can be seen beneath the King. The reverse side shows the natural copper color and what looks like remnants of black seat enamel and an old label. There are a couple slight dents on the rim.
Rare antique ashtray. Perfect gift for your favorite U.K. Royalty fan or WWI collector. Rests are sized for cigars.
