Set of two large vintage Swedish ice crystal ashtrays.
Pure Swedish luxury crystal ashtrays with high refractive quality. Beautiful deep and intricate ice crystal peaks on base were accomplished with a wood or clay mold. The ash surface of the ashtray is smooth.
Both ashtrays are big, suitable for cigars and smaller smokes. Deep bowls allows for pipe resting too. The larger ashtray weighs 3½ lbs, measures 8½” round and 2½” tall. The other ashtray weighs 2 lbs and measures 6¼” round, 2¼” tall.
Can be used as candle-holders, incense burners, petal bowls, etc. when not in ash service. Fit together perfectly for stacking.
Pukeberg was established in 1871 and is one of Sweden’s oldest and most well-preserved glassworks. See more info about Pukeberg (ask your browser to translate). This ashtray set was produced in the Mid-20th Century era.
A must have for the classy cigar room. Great for patio, heavy ashtrays can’t get pushed around easily. Tip: Outdoor ashtrays should be turned upside down when not in use.
