Blenko Art Glass Amoeba Shaped Smoking Accessory

Fab Blenko Art Glass amoeba form in deep blue from 1960’s Blenko Art Glass.

This stunning retro mod amoeboid dish was handmade by Blenko approximately 60 years ago. The form was very popular among the Peace and Love crowd of the 1960s (aka Hippies).

Thick, heavy glass contains small trapped air bubbles, expected in Blenko glass. Weighs 2 lbs, measures 8″ long, 7″ at widest.

Great party ashtray. Protruding knobs act as pipe knockers and ash rollers. Looks great by the pool. Also serves as a pipe holder, candy dish, candle holder, incense burner, catch-all or flower bowl!

Blenko’s part no 966, documented from the 1960s.  Image #6 is a catalog page from the early 1960s with this form and part no. Can be found in nearly all Blenko’s fabulous glass colors. Fun to collect and use.

In great condition with one imperceptible (unless you very closely) tiny sliver chip on the rim (priced accordingly). Glass is clean and brilliant.
