Retro organic style ashtray was made in 1976 by Blenko Art Glass, West Virginia USA.
Shown in Blenko’s 1976 catalog as part no. 769 of the ‘Bounty’ line. Blenko describes the Bounty line as “Designs from nature’s bounty of the land and seas are combined with beautifully wrought crystal glass to bring you the natural look…”. Organic styling was the rage in the 1970s and is back in popularity today.
Measures 7″ wide. In perfect condition. Four flat rests large enough for cigars, but work great for all size smokes. Deep bowl with an impressed foliage decor.
