Seven pound ashtray, yes, 7 lbs! Perfect ashtray for the executive penthouse patio, cigar lounge and parties.Made in 1977 by Blenko Art Glass . From their “Chinese Classics” line, catalog no. 7712. Thick solid sea green glass is in excellent condition. Rare in this color.
The inner surface raises in smooth mounds from the deep decor pattern stamped on the seat (base area that touches the surface). It’s hard to see in the images, the pattern is very deep. The intaglio decor is of Chinese classic mums and birds.
Accommodates all smokes, plus pipes, candles, etc. Big and heavy, can’t be knocked over. Deep well retains the ash. The base is raised from surface with three feet (prevents bottom-wear and surface damage. Rests are also raised, keeping your smoke elevated above the deep bowl.
Measures 11″ at widest, circumference 36″, 2.25″ at tallest, 2.25″ deep bowl. Weighs 7 lbs.
