Stunning out-of-this-world organic design.
Made by mid-century artist Don Je’ of La Mirada, California. Retains its original atomic style label. This piece was also hand-signed before glazing, but it is extremely hard to see.
Awesome glaze resembles a planet surface. White and light turquoise bumpy areas are raised in varying heights and flow over rim. Dark shimmering copper base color is adorned with crackly canals. Very eye-catching and worthy of conversation.
It’s large and organic shaped. Measures 10″ at longest, 9″ at widest and 1.4″ tall. Lighter-weight ceramic, weighs only 1.5 lbs. Huge 7.5″ long cigar shown in image 2 to help visualize this ashtray’s large size.
