Large ‘Coin Glass’ cigar and cigarette ashtray in thick beautiful amber glass. Circa 1957 – 1965.
Made by the Fostoria Glass Company. Fostoria’s Coin Items were produced until 1982 – During the 70’s and 80’s a noticeable quality difference separates the older items from the newer. Coins are frosted on older items, as these are. Newer coin glass does not have frosted coins.
Large ashtray measures 8″ wide, weighs 3 lbs. Has dual stacked rests for both cigars and cigarettes.
