Massive party ashtray with room for everybody and everything, including incense and candle (center ring). Deep bowl with multiple rests.
Hand-made in the USA dated 1970s. Marked ‘7161 – Maddux Calif – 1970 – USA’ on the base. Bill Maddux began creating pottery in the 1930s and sold his operation in 1966. Maddux marked pottery appeared on the market by successors until 1980.
Measures 12″ x 12″, 2″ deep. In a dark mustard yellow with brown shading. Decorated with fluers and crowns. Popular 1970s decor when the stylings of King Henry V, and the ‘mustard yellow’ color were the rage. Perfect for the center of the party table!
