Huge retro mod party Ghosted Hoot Owl ashtray by Blenko Art Glass in their famous ‘Peacock’ color. Made by hand 1970’s USA.
Classy vintage art glass ashtray weighs over 5 lbs! Blenko Art Glass part no. 702. Measures 9.75″ wide, 2″ tall and sits on 3 ball feet.Blown into a mold, then hand tooled. No mold lines. In excellent condition. One of the largest and coolest ashtrays by Blenko.
Conversation starter! Plenty of room for all your smokin’ guests! Stunning by the pool, on the deck or table centerpiece. Deep pattern was impressed on the base. The surface of the ash bowl is slightly raised by the owl eyes, caused by the incredibly deep pattern on the reverse. These soft rounded raised glass areas on the surface are perfect for rolling cigar ash, tapping pipes, snuffing out, etc. Makes a great candle and/or paraphernalia holder too.
