Italian Retro Modern Decor Large Art Pottery Ashtray
Absolutely beautiful Italian retro modern decor art ashtray made of redware pottery glazed in iridescent copper, cream and grey.
Marked “Made in Italy” on the base. Estimated circa 1950 to 1960. In like-new condition.
Large, exquisitely designed ashtray. Measures 9.25″ round with a deep 2″ bowl. Weighs 2 lbs, 6 oz.
Innovative 7-rest ledge floats any size smoke perfectly. Great for incense sticks too.
Each cradle rest is 3/4″ wide with graduating lengths up to 2.75″ long. Allows cigar smokers to rest their smoke appropriately as it burns down. Deep bowl retains the debris well, and the debris can be quickly hidden from the ash surface by tilting the ashtray up and letting it slide under the rest ledge.
