Jeannette Glass Neoclassic Smoke Set – Circa 1950
Neoclassic smoke set by Jeannette Glass. Designed to compliment Wedgwood Blue Jasperware (porcelain) dinnerware. Jeannette was an American company and Wedgwood is in England.
The color was called Corinthian blue by Jeannette. Neoclassic decor, a revival of ancient Greek and Roman styles, was popular in the 1950’s.
In near-new condition. Real gold rim trims are 98% present. Rare to find with such little wear on the gold. The pattern is as bright as the day they were made.
Set consists of two ashtrays and one covered jar. The jar was designed to hold cigarettes, but is great for anything you’d like store.
Made of thick, quality glass. Ashtrays measure 3.5″ round, 1.5″ tall. The covered jar measures 6.5″ tall.
