Beautiful and elusive ‘Rose’ colored glass from Blenko Art Glass. This rich pink color was produced between 1963 and 1964 only.
The ashtray is shown in Blenko’s archived catalogs as part number 632 (6″). According to Blenko’s numbering system, this form was the second design made in 1963. This ashtray is 6″ wide. It was made in two sizes; 6″ and 9 3/8″ for only two years.
Well-designed ashtray has a 2″ deep curving bowl to help catch and keep the ashes. Four 3/8″ wide hand-tooled rests taper down for a firm grip on the smoke. Flat, 3/4″ wide ledge provides accessory area. Weighs 1½ lbs.
