Hand-made retro glass ashtray designed in the 1970’s by Blenko Art Glass, USA.
Big, deep retro glass ashtray in thick green glass with embossed foliage decor on the seat. Original Blenko part number 701; it was the first design cataloged in 1970. In like-new condition.
Has 4 ball feet, that were polished level by hand, on the seat which raises the heavy glass just above the surface. Quality design insures the impressed pattern on the seat does not incur bottom-wear scratches. Four deep cradle rests to hold the smoke firmly and a wide level ledge to accommodate any size smoke. Great for incense and candles too (always remove any metal attached to modern candles before using with vintage glass).
Weighs 3½ lbs. Measures 8½” wide, 1½” tall. Perfect for the garden, patio or pool.
