Quality vintage crystal ashtray from mid-20th century Scandinavia.
Probably Swedish or Danish. Hand-made from clay or wood mold with heat finished surface and two tool formed rests. High clarity leaded crystal. The orange glitter shown on the ashtray in the images are reflections of the orange goblet next to it.
Superbly designed crystal ashtray fit for a classy smoke. Looks like partially melted chunk of ice. Personal sized. Measures 4.25″ long, 3″ wide and just over 1″ tall. Weighs 3/4 lb. Single rest is 3/4″ wide. Smoke is held well above the bowl. In perfect condition.
Perfect form and function, qualities of Scandinavian mid-century design.
