Beautiful signed Italian ashtray from the Mid-20th Century.
Numbered and signed on the seat. The first number refers to the form number and the second number refers to the decorative code. The ‘C’ is probably the artist initial.
Mesmerizing mossy grotto glaze on hand-formed Italian pottery. Stunning treasure from the past.
Measures 7¼” square with four ½” wide, 1″ long cradle rests.
It is in great condition with no chips or cracks. The glaze has crazing lines resulting from old age, common in antique and vintage pottery.
