Description
Southwestern decor ashtray with a Mid-Century modern flair.
Artistic glaze accomplished by hand in the mid-20th century pottery studios in California. Adobe style colors of brown, orange and yellow with texturizing. The dark brown glaze has cracks incorporated in it by the artist.
Made in the 1950’s to the 1960’s. Obviously by a very talented glazing artist. The mid-century modern three-footed canoe shape and abstract decor is unique. Beautiful artwork and form.
Haeger potteries (U.S.A.) ceased operations in May 2016, after 145 years in business.
Measures 8″ long and 4¾” wide. In excellent condition.
