Thick, luscious blue ashtray hand-formed by Viking Art Glass, circa 1950s to 1960s.
We have not found a documented part no. for this ashtray. It matches Viking’s oval #1110 (appeared in 1962 catalog), BUT it has a stylized multi-foot base. It is an variance made during the hand forming process. Measures 8.5″ long, 4 7/8″ wide and 1.25″ tall. Weighs 2 lbs. Cigar shown is 5″.
Glass is free of inclusions, quality glass. Color lightens and darkens with the thickness of the glass. Beautiful. Every beach house should have one, stunning with retro-modern decor or organic decor.
